Hoops house schedule of events

The Hoops House is the premier destination for college basketball fans during Houston’s ultimate hoops week!  The Bayou Music Center in downtown Houston serves as the perfect home for a week filled with exciting basketball programming that has something for fans of all ages.

The foundation of the Hoops House will be the two long-standing events which are staples of the hoops calendar: The State Farm College Slam Dunk & 3-Point Championships and the High School Slam Dunk & 3-Point Championships.  These events will be nationally televised by ESPN2 and CBS, respectively, and each will feature the current and rising stars of the game.

The events have a tremendous Houston tie-in recently, as well.  Houston Cougars star, Taze Moore, captured last year’s College Slam Dunk title in New Orleans, and current Houston Rockets star and 3rd overall NBA draft pick, Jabari Smith, electrified the crowd at the 2021 High School event.

New this year is the State Farm College Team Skills & 3X3U Championships, which adds even more exciting basketball action to the Hoops House.
